Ive just squeezed mine in the walkthrough. its a bit of a pain as there is lots under there but i like where it is. Just got to trim the edge and hoover.

 

Lik it. Used to have mine there, plumbed into the dash one winter to defrost the screen. Good for driving if you put a tee or y piece in and a closable vent. Loads of possibilities. Dead useful spot for it imreckon!

 

Hoping to be at this one, just a few jobs to do before tho;

Install Subaru engine mainly, but this means,

fab engine mounts,
convert Subaru gearbox to 2wd with subarugears kit, fabricate exhaust, sort hydraulic clutch, add larger bore fuel tank outlet and plumb in a return, finish fabricating radiator mount/scoop.

Might be a weekend in a tent

 

Got a small closable vent pointing towards the front

Slight change of plan! Just had a phone call from a mechanic who was trying to set up emissions for the MOT and he said “ had timing on full advance there was a squeal and the engine stopped. So I stripped it down and the rear crank bearing has seized due to oil starvation!” what could have caused that?

Btw, not aimed at you mate but generally to all. i have it on good advice that Eddie was non too pleased with the number of people using splitters for mains supplies to their buses last time. Think people hadnt paid for hook up yet had it. Dont think its a massive charge but it was the principle of having his good nature abused!

I appreciate its first come first served and if your relying on hook up to survive the weekend then ask if its ok to use a splitter and pay for it i think would be the advice.

Came up in conversation on the sunday wind-down when most had left!
