Not a corner in sight! It seems every part I take off this bus needs replacing. Also spotted the brake pedal return spring is broken today. On the plus side I've almost finished wire brushing the underside; just the two front wheel arches to do. That air drill I bought for the wire brushes is just the job.

  5. You could...file a square hole into a suitable washer and epoxy it to the cap, mebbe.

Ah, one of those. Going to take the whole lot off including master cylinder and servo to check them out. I've taken everything else off so may as well. Took about 50 photos today as a mid-way snap shot, for the resto file and maybe a thread one day if I get round to it.

  15. Is yours a rhd?

  16. Place on a suitable mandrill in the vice and use a ball pein hammer to spread the metal around/into the hole. File it square. Likely it will last forever. or weld it updrill I pilot and file square.

As @Dicky says, get a hammer and beat the centre the hole will likely go back to square
