You are, of course, correct, but Westfalia interiors are equally distressing with the heavy plaid everywhere and ugly formica cupboards. The seventies really were a decade of ugliness when it came to interior design, which extended itself into the camper world... I can't think of any 70's camper interior that you would chose today. I still have a virtually complete Devon Moonraker interior with the beige cupboards and psychedelic lino and one day I will change it all but for now I celebrate it's originality I did however draw the line at the curtains and replaced them!
I'd agree Westys were almost as bad. that plaid is awful, and the cupboards look like something from a funeral home. That leaves...Landmarks: a Mexican brothel on wheels
That brown carpet yuk. That floor with some lovely retro rugs. Can't wait. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've booked @Kkkaty , @scrooge95 and @taiga79 in for a short course of psychiatric counselling. Probably nothing to worry about, but folk who think Devon flooring is "pretty cool" can't be allowed to wander the streets unsupervised. Let us know how you get on.
Like you said. All that acid in my youth. Probably affected me. Still the best floor my miles. Merlins shag pile sounds pretty cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gorgeous! My interior crumbled when I tried moving it! Is that the original fabric on the cushions? I'm sure the ones I have are more orange than that?
On this I will agree and join the Devon-bashing with you, in fact I think shredded wheat may have more structural integrity than what came out of Dougal when I tried dismantling his interior!
Yes it is the original fabric. Been sleeping in it since 98. Nearly 39 years old. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There is a more orangey version of the devon cushion covering - @Lord Congi has some in his Moonraker
