On page one but that was a patched up rotten beam back in 2011, this one might be a replacement.

  11. I don't know how you do it.

I'd would've set fire to it after finding it was 90% filler and 10% metal.

At least now you know that a proper job will be done, probably a brilliant one given what I've seen of the stuff that you've done.

    Good Luck.

Are you using spray enamel or brushed?

  14. I’m using this stuff for the black parts now in an attempt to speed things up.

Are decent ones of these available anywhere?
I recall someone mentioning that they didn’t fit for some reason

  19. Removed the handbrake lever and started to bare metal it
I was having a hard time removing the paint with a wire wheel on the grinder
    [IMG]
I did the best I could and found quite a bit of pitting corrosion.

This bit was full of underseal so I burnt it out with a blowtorch then scraped the remains out before cleaning it with kerosene soaked scotch pad
    [IMG]

It’s now soaking in the acid bath to remove the corrosion and when it comes out I’ll go over it with a poly strip and clean disc to remove the remaining paint
