Could you take a pic of the back of the rev counter for me and measure the diameter please?

Diameter is 80mm

 

I’ll take the cab and side door handles if the barrels are fully intact.

 

Handle are intact I believe do you want both side door handles?

 

Just for info, the rev counter looks to be from an mgb..fits late bay a treat..I had one in my bay. And an absolute bargain.

Are those headlight adaptors needed to use the Golf headlights that you've got listed?

 

Is bosch dizzy for 1600?

Are quarter light seals for opening type?

Still being considered by an other but, one is locking and one is not (for different types of side door).

adaptors are to convert standard bay headlights with big round headlight bulbs to modern H4 lamps

Which ‘ole did you want to fit it into?
80mm fits in the ‘ole next to the speedo.

 

I have a small pod like attachment that takes the 52mm vdo gauges.
I must admit its not for the bay as I'm not in the least bit bothered about rpm on the standard t4 lump. Timing is easy on the fi system with my little chinese hand held tacho.
I am more concerned about the needy wbx engine and its odd habits at certain rpms. The 2.1 is a much more sensitive beast with inputs from gearing, wheel size, wind direction!, speed and fuel octane all having a much more noticeable effect on drivability. We've done 20k kms in the last 6.5 months and I need another gauge to worry about alongside coolant temps and oil pressure
