Hello All, Please could someone let me know how involved the process is to fit a 1976 engine lid onto a 1973 bus? I realise there are different hinges and would like to know if it is easier to change the bus so I can hang the later engine lid or do I change the engine lid by cutting out the brackets from the old lid and welding them onto the new lid? I am sure that makes sense....? Thank you Mike
I have a 73 bus that a PO has put a later lid on - totally bodged it though - so I have acquired an early lid that needs filling and painting
