  2. Really big thanks everyone for your assistance, AND I now know the difference between an M plate and a vin plate (gona get my numbers of the camper cos thats dry and in the garage ;D
     
  3. The first one's defo a kombi or microbus, the one on the trailor's got a devon poptop, but looks slightly like it might be a panelvan conversion, but i can't really make it out properly. The m plate destination code is interesting, UF, were's that?

  6. My camper is a Kombi bus built March 1973..... therefore I totally dip out for free tax >:D, this is what I was hoping for, a site like this http://www.vw-mplate.com/mcode.php

  7. Have just tried our M-plate number in the above link and it started life as a Kombi van, that explains the twin sliders and the full width bulkhead panel!

  10. Can anyone help, Iv been paying road tax and it needs renewing now. My log book says, first registration 1974 , but having done the m plate , it says
    Planned production dateFriday, 09 March 1973
    and
    Modelyear1973
    , Soooooo does that mean, I am tax exempt now ,, many thanks
