  4. Oh that looks in good condition - well done! I like the big fresh air ventilation on the front! Good luck with it - take your time! :)

  6. Thanks Stan. It's not the worst. but there is a lot of pinholes and small sections gone in a lot of panels. The chassis and roof are good though :)

  7. exactly the Chassis looks good! Panel vans are rare these days - well they had a hard life!

  8. Likes nice and clean fella. enjoy your build.

    What's your plans?

  9. We think this one has been sitting up since the early to mid 90s. I managed to track down the holder of the original log book and he sold it on in 1990 I think. The log book never went with it to the then new owner so it couldn't have been taxed after that. Now having said that, it was easy enough to get away with driving with no tax in Ireland back in the 90s but I can't imagine that would have went on for long. That previous owner gave me a bit of history on it too. the first owner was a fish monger, the second was a fruit and veg delivery man and he owns a car garage but he said he never really used the van, and especially not for carting parts around in.
Hopefully she had an easy life. Even the brake disks looks barely worn :)

  10. As the front is already off, my plan is to put an early front on it but not change anything else. Colour wise, here is the look I'll be aiming for

  11. Looks like a good project:)
    I love panel vans!

  12. What? So you are going to restore it then go and hit it with a lump hammer to get that crinkled effect as above!! haha

  13. Haha no. I love that colour scheme. But I'm going for a satin finish

  14. by my taste the front from an prototype bay looks much better as a late but i think most because of front bumper which is realy nice shape.

Good luck with your restorations... i know that you have plenty of work ahead =)

Yes mate, 68 double door, with the orignal sign writing

  19. Awesome!
    How's it lowered?

  20. Up front:
    Dropped spindles
    Slam shocks
    4.5" narrowed beam
    King and link conversion beam
    X2 slam werks tubs
    X2 Monroe air shocks
    Front notches done at T2d

    Rear:
    Slam shocks
    Adjustable springplates
    10mm spacers
    Notches done at t2d
    Engine raise 2"
    Crash bar added

Could do with tubs at the rear to be honest
