    Maybe that applies to buses exported to the US. My European spec ’77 has both seat bulkheads, a CJ code engine with twin Solex carbs.

    Our 77 US' Westy has one bulkhead behind the drivers seat the passenger a swivel seat/no bulkhead, GD code motor with the Bosch L Jetronic.

    I think the reality is that many buses will have had bulkheads removed later in life at the owners discretion

    I agree but the data on type2.com states that from ’77 the seat bulkheads are removed. That’s not correct – as @SimonRev now knows.

    i have no bulkheads from the factory (i believe) (1977 micro bus) but then devon fitted a chip board one on the passenger side to hang the cooker off :confused:!

  8. my 78 westy contintental (German supplied from factory) has both bulkheads in place.
