    I use to be a facilities manager for a large almshouse charity in the centre of Bath with several grade 1 & 2 listed buildings including a grade 1 staircase.

    Some off the decisions they make are bonkers I had one Georgian building with 70s silver metal windows I wanted to change to wooden sash and they wouldn’t let me.

    This was the chunk of sand and cement threatening to kill me. Roofer nearby got it down and a couple of others too!
    He’s coming back tomorrow to repair Carla’s roof properly - she only had it done last year :(
    And yes, I did ask to see pics from up there to see the problems. :)

    no, there wouldn't have been a window there originally - it's where they put in a bathroom by dividing a bedroom and stealing the space over the stairs
