    On my paint ..

I think I’ve asked on here before , can’t remember the outcome and if I did try what was recommended - it hasn’t worked ..

Anyway , I’ll wash the camper and wax it etc and if we get any rain I end up with mucky stains running down all over the body work..

I know my paint is crap and I guess quite porous and I need to seal it somehow , I’ve tried various waxes but it’s almost like I need to apply a resin or something ..

    Any suggestions what to use??

  2. I'd take it off with G3 or T-Cut, and give it a good waxing. It's VW's crap gutter design. Mine does the same

Thing is it does it all over , not just the gutter drain, off all the handles , sliders along the roof.

Plain old turps gets it off quite easy and then I wax straight over it

I’ve just been looking at some ptfe paint sealer which I may try

  4. That's odd o_O

What's on the insides of your gutters Dazza?

I don't have an answer, just a question ... or two:
What is the actual stain made up of?
What do you mean by "crap" paint? Did you use a particular topcoat? Was it not prepped right?

I often come home from work and my wife is outside with a bucket of Daz scrubbing the skid marks off my camper

I didn’t paint it , I don’t know what the paint was but the best way I can describe it is not very durable .
It stains very easily almost as if it’s porous and needs sealing somehow .., or respraying

I used to use Autoglym motorcycle cleaner to get manky stains from my vehicles

We'll have a look at TE, probably possible to flat it back and clearcoat it.

It’s not worth doing all that Dunc , the paint is very thin- even polishing and waxing it is wearing it down to the Neptune blue below - it’s too rough to top coat and not rough enough to call it the patinered look
