My fan works... just. The heat coming out of the windscreen vents on the dashboard would just about move a Kleenex tissue. But not a piece of A4 paper. I’ve known people who fart harder, sadly. Is this normal working and I just have to deal with cold knees? Or do I need a new fan?
You need to check through the system underneath for leaks, lots of joins that can blow air out before it reaches the dash, are the flaps on the risers closing fully? Where the cables attach to the riser after the exchangers before the concertina pipes? Are you venting fully to the screen and not the football vents?

The snail fan on a type 4 is only effective when the engine is idling, not when travelling whence you get going, the fan on the end of the crankshaft (in the fan housing) takes over and warms the cab vents. As others have said, check the system for leaks!
Ahhh! Never knew that. Ok will do though so much is hidden under the belly pan. It might help if my doors fitted better. I can see the road through mine when I’m driving
