standard exhaust problems

  1. Evening all, I have a type 1 engine with a standard exhaust which appears to have the 2 piece tail pipe, this has been fine for a whole year! but now the end has fallen off. My question is would a one piece stainless pipe (JK No. J14408 OEM No. 211-251-071) fit without too much persuasion
    Thanks in advance

  2. Yeh Andy I think they are an optional extra if you want ya go that way. I must say I wish I’d refurbed my old Ernst exhaust cos the new replacements are marmite ta say the least . The mufflers are carp .

  4. Beware speed bumps and backing too tight to walls too :D

  5. Mine did that too. Complained to coolair that the clamp was incorrectly sized, and they said "that's odd, we've never seen that issue before, you must not have tightened it enough". What a ridiculous coincidence that it's happened to more than one person.
