Subaru conversion start

  3. Note to self, ensure temp sender plug is plugged in, even after you know you connected it!!

    Makes it start and run crap, and bring on the check engine light.

    All sorted now though.

  5. Im gonna drag him over to mine when its back from the exhaust fabricators to work his magic on the last few jobs I have to complete.
    Should take him an hour or so to sort it - I hope lol

  6. Test drive completed, 4 miles is enough isn't it?

    Drive to work tomorrow then a thrash down, I mean sedate drive TE.

  10. So! How does it run?
    Going from ej20 phase 1 to ej20 phase 2 made already a big difference on mine. So ej20 phase 1 to ej25 phase 2 should make a significant difference!

    I can confirm it has made a significant difference!
    The EJ25 is properly torquey!

    (Gutted I missed techenders but a sunny weekend with surf in Cornwall was too good to pass)

  14. New rear lamda sensor arrived, so fitted that. Then made an extension up so it will actually work.

    Also chopped a bit off the front of the shift rod so I can get 2nd gear now

    How do you know someone has a scooby engine? you'll hear it

  20. They do, but I personally don't think they are suited to a bus though.

    Lots seem to go into beetles, which make them mental
