  3. I would check that the ts2 wire isn't melted and earthing out first.. Then go from there.

i can't see two wires on it? i'm sure there was only one? i always wondered where the wire for the cht gauge was - i'm getting brain ache now - no wonder people get rid of the fuel injection.

  11. Ensure the wiring for the ts2 is ok first.

Then you can look at other things like the CSV and TTS.

When I.get home on a pc I will reply better with tests you can do Ricky or can give you a call at some point

  13. Don't start talking about getting rid it is really simple once you know what each part is meant to do.

I don't know it all yet but I can do most things from when I reinstated the Fi

  15. looking at the first pics again Ricky, it does look like 2 wires to me BUT i am not sure which one is which. any chance of more pics?

It should be a black wire from the TS2 to a female spade connector and then it will go into a male spade connector which should be a white wire.

  16. so the Thermo Time Switch that controls the CSV (fifth Injector) is seen in this pic.

It is the one with a brown connector under the black T at the right of the pic.

Ricky: I think your TS2 which should be in next to the intake runners is one of the ones that goes through the tin and is harder to get to. Would need to see more pics though

here is a link to some better pics of the TS2

  17. SCRATCH ALL THAT I NOW SEE IT IS JUST ONE WIRE THAT LOOKS LIKE 2

it looked like 2 wires coming out of the black engine tin. what i see now is the wire i described. black going to white.

fix and that and see how it runs then

i'll try to do more pics but to be fair it's quite restricted to take, what exactly do you need to see? i'll look at your pic's on the comp tomoz as i'm on phone now, cheers for the help? i didn't think i saw 2 wires, the light colour wire which i'm touching with the screwdriver in pic 2 was going into the loom and is whitish in colour.
