There was an 'old photo' thread on here a while back but I can't find it now..

Anyway we found these a few days ago & the memories came flooding back

A grand day out. The Nimba range is in the background. Just to the right you can see the start of what remained of Mt Nimba which was a big open cast iron ore mine.


& one for @Dicky & @Dazza. Would have been 1979 as I was too young (15) to 'officially' ride it on the road so it had to live round the back
Dad was still away so........

It got mirrors, then got de-chromed, went to 225, then had a hole cut in the panel for the Mikuni, then had the....

....rear end cut off & legshields trimmed to go racing

I sold mine last year ...the first time in 30 years I'd been scooter less and its only now I'm starting to regret it ...promised myself another , I'm 50 in 3 years time and if I haven't got another by then I've promised myself a 1970 GP

 

Actually it did. It's in a private collection still in it's race paint and trim as far as I last heard.
