I drove round with mole grips on a rear brake flexi for about 3 months

 

Maybe, maybe change tyres too, keep those for winter, noisey *****ers

I put Yokohama geolander all terrains on the daily and there fantastic
Good off road good in the snow not noisy and have great road manners
They don’t look aggressive though

It was a get me home fix when I had a leaking rear brake cylinder
I then forgot about it until I came to change a flat tyre
Not something I’m proud of

Found a magnet led inspection lamp affixed to the underside of mine after some work at the local garage.

It was rechargeable so I returned it as it would actually be more expensive to mate it with a replacement charger!!

 

After wire wheeling the floor and painting with Rustoleum, we practice-laid the flooring:

Had to put some fuel in Tilly on Tuesday before she would start after doing the chokes, went to start Tilly today and no fuel so i put in 5 more litre and moved her to put a tray underneath to see if any fuel was dripping out,it wasn't dripping it was running out.
Quick look showed a stream of petrol running out of the fuel hose just before the electric fuel pump under the left rear chassis.
Clamped the pipe with a mole grip to stop the flow then removed the offending pipe and fitted a new piece. Now need to get right under her to replace the fuel hose from tank to filter and filter to pump.
Better now than on the side of the motorway
Check your hoses and breathers before the you start to use the loves of your lives.
