  1. I would be interested in a set of type4 bay under tin, what will p&p be to Norway?

  2. Less than £15... I sent a set over to Denmark last year @FastTurtle

  3. Hi Paul,

I've dropped you a PM as I'm interested in under tins & front tins for a Type 4 if you are still able to supply them?

    Many thanks in advanced

    Dave

  4. Hi Paul

We've exchanged messages about your type 4 under tins on another classified thread, but as a newbie I can't PM you (or anyone :) ) so could you let me know how I can buy these for my bay ?

    Thanks

    Ivor

  8. I've got a '78 T4 engine, FI. Am I supposed to have engine tin underneath? tuesday_wildchild

  9. You are indeed...

  10. Oh crap...

Anyone got a picture of what I should have (US Spec), I may be needing some parts!

  11. Hi Paul, I think I'm missing some tin from the bottom of my engine - are these the lower trays which are missing please? (see attached photos). Its a 2L type 4 engine in a 1972 Bay. I think it was originally 1600.
    Thanks, Dylan

  12. Yep, you're missing the undertins... best get my finger out and get some made

  13. If I post similar pics tomorrow, can you tell me if i'm missing them as well?

  14. Hi Paul, are these under tins something you are able to make quite quickly please or does it take a while? I'm not sure if you got my message.
    Thanks, Dylan

  15. I sent you a private message the other day @Dylan ;)

  16. Oh yes - Sorry! I've done as you asked. Many thanks. Dylan

  17. The tins look great thanks and I fitted them the morning I set off. They are a perfect fit, and I'd agree that they are essential in cold weather for ensuring the thermostat works correctly. For some reason though they didn't help the cooling on a warm day on my van. I had to stop on the side and remove them as temp crept up to 110. With them removed I got between 90 and 95 at about 50mph. I'm not sure why this is, as the air from the fan seemed to be ducting through fine and coming out the back after the new tins. I'll store them away till winter I think.

  18. Interesting... I'd make sure that all your other tinware is there too then...
