Hi Alez, I think we spoke on the samba when you posted on there. Glad it worked out for you, the adventures begin - have fun and enjoy! Keep the pics coming, we love them on here
Thanks all for the warm welcome. Most correct, Mattlad. The kebab you mentioned is where we had our first fish & chips of our trip (every time I travel to UK I have to have some of that), and it was pretty good. Yes, MorkC68, I posted on there, nice helpful community too.
Looks brilliant. Congratulations! Do you have lots of space where you live in Spain for Late Bay forum types to visit you in our Late Bays as I could do with an excuse for some sun - Techenders Spain or Techenders France anyone?
We certainly have some space for such legitimate purpose, Sir We live in busy Madrid city. Don't hesitate to contact me if you make concrete plans. I can help.
I'm travelling through Madrid in three weeks on the way from Alvor to Barcelona to catch the Majorca ferry
My (real) name is Alex and my mobile number is <deleted>. You're welcome to give me a call or text me via mob or Whatsapp. Lord Congi, are you considering staying in Madrid overnight?, how many of you are travelling? Like I said, I can help. Please don't quote this post... I'll leave it 24 h or so, then I'll delete my number
Welcome from Milton Keynes! Can we all come to your new place for a campervan sleepover party soon? We're a quiet bunch and never do anything embarrassing/noisy/rude!
Sorry, you can't come because I don't particularly like people who always behave, and allegedly you do
Slightly late to the welcome party as I've been hiding out at the beach for a week in Cornwall, but hello and welcome! Looks like you'll have a queue of us heading for Spain now under the pretence of seeing your lovely van in the flesh
+1, please check out the rules for registering the bus ASAP. The Spanish have strict timelines to avoid taxes on your personal vehicle, let alone a camper. Lovely bus btw.
Hola y bienvenido We registered a lhd t4 Westie to Spanish plates which was a bit pricey but ok. We had to have a ficha tecnico exam to say it was a correct homogenisation. Then get it ITV'd. We also tried to do a T2 RHD camper but because it was originally a panel van we weren't allowed as no RHD commercial vehicles allowed on Spanish plates
Welcome from Manchester (the English Barcelona, minus the beach). That is a great van and a great introduction post!
thats a bit crazy if you think about it ,same as a camper minus the sticky out rubbers ... but the ops is a camper ,might be ok?
