As today is Burns Night, everyone should be eating haggis.

Very easy to do. Boil, bake or microwave (pierce first) and serve with mashed potatoes and "bashed neeps" (mashed turnip to Sassenachs).

Do not serve with gravy but anoint with a liberal amount of whisky and enjoy!

When and If you ever go to Scotland. On the way up stop off at Moffat and go order Haggis tatties and neeps at the very accommodating Moffat hotel.

We do want to head over that way and find out some history on my Great Grandmothers side, the Armour's. Find out clan history etc!

You sure it was the haggis and not the accompanying liquor!

  16. My mum's not a drinker, she can't handle it. She was never allowed near ant poteen that was brought over (dad's cousin was a Nun, and who would stop a Nun carrying a lemonade bottle?) as it would be a waste!
