I was lead to believe you get what you pay for, but the longevity of expensive ones seems suspect these days. They all seem to only last about three years in regular use from what I have read. Hence cheap twice is better than dear twice. Granted the dearer ones are better to begin with, but they soon level out performance wise. ApparentlyYou're looking at £200 ish for real quality. I have never tested one to that extent, so wouldn't know.
