Wouldn't it be better to paint before glass? Ignore that I just re-read and saw you have some on Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I'd love to have had the time to paint the whole thing before glass but I just haven't had the time. It's getting a rough coat everywhere as it's going to be kept outside (under a cover). Bodywork is another project that I'll tackle later. I'm just desperate to get it on the road now. As long as it's watertight and driving for now I'm happy lol
Got the loom repaired and all shrinkwrapped. Also stuck a 7core cable along its length for future proofing. Was going to slap 2 lengths in but my measurements were a bit off lol. Isn't it mad how unforeseen costs mount up. 1 calliper knackered. Adjustable track rod jobbie broken The beam I put on was an early so new 72> spindles needed (anyone need some >72 spindles btw?) New headlights All new bolts nuts etc for brakes and suspension Another set of shocks as the Ines I bought years ago were wrong My wallet hurts
Engine is being fettled (hopefully works) got the tinware painted so should all be going together this week!
Engine is in. Sadly lacking an alternator pulley so not attempting to start it yet Got a shed load more filler on. Unfortunately the po and I warped the panels so it's a bit wavy! Oh and the floors been swept Malc
Seriously mate. It looks like you are moving on and it isn't too far away from usable vehicle. Is that brake fluid on the cab step. What are you thinking of doing with the dizzy, are you going electronic or staying with the points?
That's gearbox oil from a gearbox that was being stored there lol. Sticking with points st the moment. Just want a useable bus for now. Got to look at new engine etc next year. Should have an mot within the next 2 weeks
