  1. don’t want to cut anymore of the / pillar down, if the sill is wrong, does that make sense.

up/down? forwards backwards? Sorry I really don't understand.
If you mean height the outer sill is supposed to hang lower than the middle sill where they meet. Makes it neater and easier to seal.

If the drainage wobbles don't line up there's nothing you can do about that.

Regarding the outer sill, for sure test it, line it up, make sure it will fit, but don't fit it until B post and the other end are complete.

  4. I ordered a new outer sill and B pillar hoping that it would solve the problem, wow what a different in the panels.

Offered up the new door step, B pillar and lower sill, not far out at all, little bit of felting while welding should bring it all together nicely. The sliding door itself has had a bottom replaced at some point in it’s life, it not 100% but should be able to sort that when I fit the new skin,

Please with that so far. Will continue with it tomorrow.

Looking good. Having good quality panels makes all the difference doesn't it!

  8. Thank you.

I know it doesn’t look much, but It taken a while to sort. But happy with it.

  9. Made a start on removing front floor today, so I can get that all lined up before I start welding the door step into place. Slowly coming along.

  10. Looks great. Getting that corner to line up aaaand the sliding door is an art form. More art than science for sure.

It does look much! Everything depends on getting this kinda thing spot on.
Here's a tip: be sure that there is still some space for the seal (if you don't have one fitted) along the arch length.
As said above, getting sill/B post/arch/cab and sliding door right leads to ultimate happiness. That's a lot of items meeting in one small area to replace and line up. Not easy at all.

  12. I have found this side very frustrating, panels incorrect, sliding door badly repaired, but am learning and happy with how it’s all coming together now.

That's how it goes. It's going to look "right" when it's finished so it was worth all that. You'll soon forget!
It can be a quite subtle thing you can't quite put your finger on when you look at restored buses. Some just look right because they are. :)

  14. Had another few hours on the camper.
Sorted front corner bottom so now got something to weld the arch too, and added a lip to take the new floor.

    One bit at a time....

  17. Not too bad, it’s only hanging on 2 bolts at the moment, so will need adjusting properly once I’v fitted the floor.
