    I've gone and lost my petrol cap, so has anybody got a chrome locking one for a 78 that they would like to part company with for some recompense?

    @davidoft or anyone else.

    Thanks

  3. Here's a question, can you get a locking cap for the earlier fuel flap type? Thanks.

    Mine too....I'm sure I got it from one of the usual suspects.....probably JK as it was over 10 years ago when I got the van and I wasn't aware that there were other suppliers.

    The caps above are stainless steel and are not shiney like chrome, I polished mine to a mirror finish like chrome, but they are not shiney out the box

    You got me worried now. I think I got mine from C&C :thinking:

    I never have the tank more than half full so haven’t spilled anything yet.

    The lock is v stiff though.

  14. I’ve had a C&C one for a few years and always fully fill the tank, never had it leak.
