I don’t normally comment on this stuff……but your feet and legs are tanned and your ankle region is …not.
Do you wear ankle leg warmers Ala Pans People/ flash dance or is it for orthopaedic reasons.

 

I have Mediterranean legs and Scandinavian feet , I blame my parents...

That's a Seme, made with the blade from a Martindale machete. The "button" at the bottom of the scabbard is usually a coin with a hole in it, useful for dating it.

 

That was the weird thing , all the other lakes were brimmed to the point of flooding and ferries being unable to dock due to high water levels covering the jetties whereas Haweswater feeds Manchester and was very low - looking at the waterline 20-30 meters lower than normal ....
You can see the field walls from the village that was lost when the valley was dammed in 1937 .

Yes, we called the machete a "panga", I've got one in the shed. I'll look at the coin, but it's definitely pre 1964 as that's when we came to the UK.
