Stripping some brush painted black paint off an old Lima shunter.
Its already spent a while in a plastic bag containing Mr Muscle oven cleaner which removed 90% of the paint but the last few stubborn bits need some paint stripper to shift it. Even after 2 applications theres still a couple of bits that won't shift.

 

I did indeed - splendid piece of kit and still going strong , VERY suprised at how much abuse it can take both physically and battery wise

I had a similar incident with my van…. Albeit it was the local garages lamp!! The battery had run down and I didn’t have a compatible charger so i returned it!

In an estate of brick houses and white windows, the neighbours opposite are striking out in a different direction. The windows were changed a couple of years ago when they moved in. I know grey seems to be the "in" colour of the moment, but I'm not a fan.

Now we seem to be raising the bar with a full frontal rendering



I can't wait to see what colour paint they will choose.

Its easier to clay bake them in foil, like gypsies do with hedgehogs. The spikes just fall out then
