And bonnet bras are nothing new, I well remember back in the 70s you would often see a Beetle wearing a bra or bib, in plain black or chequered, maybe a bit smaller than this example below...
There's a nostalgia trip! I remember my dad always using STP when he did oil changes on his 1966 Beetle 1500 back in the late 70's. The oil had to be Duckhams 20/50 (the green stuff) and I can still see him like it was yesterday warming the can of STP on the engine while the oil drained. Gloopy stuff, used to pour like Tate and Lyle's Golden Syrup! Happy memories
