Ah, the memories of fitting one in a mini, then getting your clutch foot wedged behind it when changing gear…

I had furry dice in a few of my Capris :)

my sister has nice had a mini with blacked out windows and furry dice and a synthetic sort of fur up the inside :) it also had wide wheel arches etc

not sure how they did the windows back then? Felt tip probably! It was a fire hazard waiting to happen :)

  6. Eurrr  my parents both used to smoke in the car when i was a young un. It’s just what happened back then. The vision of an ashtray full of fag ends used to make me gip back then. Glad it’s something you don’t often see these days.

What about ‘ keep-a-key ‘ ? I’ve actually got one- it was in my bus when I bought it!

Or as I found out later, ’Keep A Key’ was better known to me as instantly ‘LostA Key’
Because I’d put it somewhere and then forget about it, you’d only start the search if you lost your original and magnetic they may be but mine were rarely where I’d left them. :)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, ad memory even back then :)

All my vans have had one but not one I’ve put there, when I’ve done some work on the van I have found them.

You had to be really lost to use that, or a sea captain

  18. My Dad had one stuck to the windscreen. As soon as the engine fired up, it went completely barmy.

The ones i saw for sale went for £60. Add on the cost of recovering them and they work out rather too expensive. :(
