So what a gig! First time back in the UK in 3 years for The Killers and they chose to open the stadium tour with a small gig in what used to be Roxy's nightclub in Sheffield, now the O2 Academy.
Awesome mix of old and new and a banging night!

Mel wishes. She actually fainted and had to get carried to a nearby bar for water.
I missed the drama as Id been sent on a quest for a couple of bottles and she didn't want to loose her place in the crowd!

Minor drama and normal service was soon resumed.

The big downside was we missed their cover of Joy Divisions Shadowplay. Gutted!

 

@theBusmonkey , great that you saw them in a smaller venue Bar one notable exception, I’ve hated every arena type gig I’ve been to. No atmosphere, lousy sound etc etc….

 

I’m sulking as I’ve just destroyed my vice!

Pressing wheel studs out of a hub! It does sort of work like press - with a 2ft scaffold tube on the handle
