I helped with the planning for a new reservoir in the South East (won’t say where) a few years back but it didn’t get built as it was not profitable enough for the company’s shareholders. You reap what you sow. Now it is us who have to cut back no doubt to avoid having to force the companies to unwillingly invest.

Up here in Yorkshire, we water our plants with London Pride as pure water is too strong for them!

 

It's something to do with the waste flowing through the Thames

 

So that's what they do with Fuller's surplus production!

 

Some posh people around here,wash their Astro turf with whisky,for that ‘half cut’ look…….

 

I couldnt find any detail of punishment on the Southern Water website, but the letter I received details punishments of fines up to £1000.
They do suggest starting on neighbours with gentle reminders in their FAQs.

 

I believe Southern Water will be providing sets of net curtains, so you can keep an eye on what they're doing.

 

In case anyone’s under the mistaken belief that we are all in this together, or that water is a basic human right. The boss of Thames Water gets paid £2m a year, on top of the £3.1m she got as a ‘golden hello’. You couldn’t make it up.

 

Car washes and pressure washers are still working around here…

 

This is the reservoir a mile or so down the road from me. Theres a hosepipe ban from the 19th here.

 

I've stocked up before the ban comes to the northwest.
