44 doesn't look quite right, I think thee are several versions of that one and the plastic ring the seals between it and the alternator though.
dunno what "0" is. That's not really all the parts, there are also two "stove pipe" bits for cool air from the aux fan into the heat exchangers, 2 pipes from the eat exchanger to the control pods and the pods themselves. Also 2 small parts that clamp the heat exchangers to the fan housing. Probably a few more to0.
Yeah I thought that about the fuel injection parts alright. Thanks for confirming. And 20,21 us spec not needed. Do i need a comparable part instead of them then. Thanks a lot lads for once again, keeping me on the straight and narrow.
Cashwowud posted pics on this thread, on March 13 2015, I assume these are the parts I'm looking for, thanks. https://thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/tinware-for-type-4-diagram.49056/
Yes, that lot is euro style. You have a lot of photos now, with those and the not great line diagrams you'll be able to work it out. Happy hunting.
I like your "not great line diagrams" which is an understatement. I assume 1700. 1800, 2000 tinware is all the same for my bay. Thanks again for your guidance
Only for you guys, I would have pulled out the last of my hair over this I might well yet, before this is over
I just got a quote for the tinware less postage for 1200 euro from the uk. Postage will probably bang on another 100-200 euro delivery. So thats a non runner. IIts back to the drawing board at the moment and considering remaking some of the peripheral T25 engine tinware to match the repaired engine bay. Unless the tinware gods bestow a set upon me . Thats the plan in the interim. Of course the nature of plans is they change.
Quick up date. I have had no luck in sourcing any item at all to replace my tinware at the moment. But as I am currently knee deep into a squareback resto, I can afford to hang on a bit longer for a possible result.
Can one of you goodfellas spec me the correct mask for protection against fumes from welding galvanise sheet metal. Thanks, I have a small job needing galvanised metal.
I finally manged to pin down 99% of the tinware I need including an alternator. I just need to collect it this week. So its all good.
I collected most of my parts today, so will have a good look tomorrow to see how I am doing, so progress is good.
Managed to pick up most of the parts now, here is the latest pickup for sorting, cleaning, priming and re spraying.
