Yep I bought that one It’s in Holland currently getting some work done - so far overhauled all the brakes and serviced engine, pulled the homemade camping interior out and replaced with the original transporter interior with the original seats including middle seats, pulled all the home wiring out so back to factory and next up going to pull the dent from the front panel. Will keep the patina on exterior and laquer as too cool to spray over. Needs a new battery tray which I have got just not gone in yet. Front seats need recovering which I am in conversations with James ley but van in Holland so not ready yet.
harsh, but probably fair lol personally i like to think it was perfectly in tune with the fashions of the time. i think future generations will look back on the cars we're driving in 2024 and wonder why they were so dull and boring.
I got told I wasn't allowed to join because I was a member of to many other groups, mates said start your own so I did
Shortly after buying my bus I spotted this for sale, I jumped on it just because when will you see another! Also handy for spare material although bugger all wrong with it
Strange it does not have the special edition brown dash and steering wheel that was exclusive to champagne models
