Like this. Was considering louvres, but this looks much better. Is that a no parking sign you're parked in front of Birdy?
Security wise they are ok but a window is a window and can be broken. Sent from my iLife 4 suite of applications.
i have 2 of these sliding windows and am very happy with them, i would say that as they are for a microbus the bit that opens is not next to the rear seat but behind the front seat, i fitted mine the wrong way round for the minute, will see how much rain gets in when i have drive after christmas
We've had the same ones fitted for nearly 3 years now, brilliant stuff. Gives plenty of airflow to the back, which is what the Terrordales like, we're waiting for a friend to finish making some magnetic fly screens for summer camping ( you know how hot it gets in Dec,Jan & Feb )
I fitted on of the rear type when my silly square rear quarter light fell apart. Looks good and gives good ventillation, especially good on hot summer nights when sleeping in the bus. Will put mossie net up this year!
Weve got the middle one of these for Gusbus...much better than the solid glass & little ventilation! (But I do fancy one of those Safari windows )
Quote "The item itself is genuine Volkswagen Brazil and with some work will fit directly into the original hole on any microbus or bus that has factory holes for windows." 2 questions about these cool windows. First one is where do you buy these and what do you mean by "with some work will fit directly"? Thanks in advance.
