Great site, laid-back attitude to booking - just turn up, plenty of room. Fires allowed and more or less compulsory with dozens of old wheels (fire-pits) scattered around the field, wood easily forageable from the surrounding woodland. Huge toilet block - basic, but stacks of it and clean. Photo later. http://www.breckfarm.co.uk/
Son took a few pics and he's busy cooking my supper so I don't want to disturb him. Later if I don't look too much of a dork. There were other bay window campers on the field but I managed to ignore them all. You can get a bit too much of this dub thang.
I hadn't been for years. The bogs were a bit "struggling to cope" last time I went, but they've over-reacted and built a humongous block now, like a cow-shed for the camping cattle. Great site for the pyromaniacs amongst us - which appears to be everyone.
Ooooooo sounds good Zed, this is the place we have booked for the August bank holiday weekend when your lad has finished your supper it would be fab to see pics
Home made pizza and salad, but he's sprung cleaned the kitchen as well. Good lad, I'm not for stopping him! I may yet join you, they don't care what time you arrive of where you pitch so could be ideal for a late evening return for me and of course your own good company - top site.
We are off here tomorrow morning, camping Friday night before going across to wells next the sea for a long weekend. Can't wait, just starting packing the essentials
Roger that, will take loads and get them up on here. Got to say talking to the owners when booking they seemed very friendly and laid back. No booking in time we just have to get there when we get there and if reception/farm shop is shutinstructions are on a blackboard. Really looking forward to camping there more than b&b at wells, but I'm sure all will be ok
