Thought I would stick the pics here for you all to see, great weekend & great peeps, fantastic to meet some of the TLB'rs we met back in April & great to meet some new! Well done to everyone who helped the mammoth task which the vdub bruvs undertook & hope they got home ok
The engine in bits was using a litre of oil to every 100 miles, and disappearing in a cloud of smoke on start-up. Its had a new piston fitted and apparently now runs ok.
Hope you don't mind me chipping a few in Robo, here's the strictly come engine rebuild judges Leon's transit came in handy when the weather turned Vdubbruvs and beaver applying the finishing touches Fantastic weekend and great to meet so many TLBer's
It started raining this morning when the engine was going back in, so @Louey parked his camper transit with its enormous canopy over the back of @vdub brvs van. Worked a treat. Just like that ^^^^ There's a barn you could get 6 vans in if the weathers really bad.
Hook up fairies at work! (I mean it in a nice way) Noisy cupboard contents on the floor. Apparently there was some sport on Zed saves the day Some people are just lightweights. Massive marshmallows!
Friday evening was a bit wet but me and mini Robo went ahead in the Robowagen & Mrs Robo followed later after picking our daughter up from skool, we were all set up before the rain arrived! We had a good dry Saturday with loads of work going on everywhere, I managed to get my shiny roof rack bars fitted but my plan for better fixings to hold it all on the van went a bit wrong so it's gotto come off again at some point just to sort one fixing but thoroughly enjoyed the weekend & was a bit wobbly walking back to the bus last night / this morning
We "The Robo's and the mad yappy puppy" had a great time, it was nice to see some familiar faces from April, plus the new ones... Highlight of the weekend, nearly getting the Chinese order right and on time, although I am happy to stand down when Tuesday Wildchild reappears in April 14, lowlight nearly getting my foot chopped off by the mad axe man...
