I have seen quite a few VW Campers and Beetles in and around the Grantham area, even had a business card popped through the door for a VW restoration garage, didn't know whether to smile or get upset that someone thought the pride and joy was that bad. Just wondering if any of them are on here and if any one wanted to start meeting up and helping each other now the winter and dark nights are apon us.
Hi Crumpets, We are in Market Deeping and moving to Oakham soon. Only club we know of round here is the VeeDub club in Peterborough. There are a few Latebay members in touch with each other and plan to travel to events or campouts through the year though too. Cheers Mark and Alison

A new vw club is being formed in the Newark Area which is being created by Jo at 181 Classic Motors, Newark. I believe that you take your van there to Malc Hazard. I'll add more details as the develop if you don't give them a call first.
Im in Grantham and if you live here you will have seen my vans parked on the street. Either the one on the left or my orange and cream T25. There is a facebook group called Grantham vdubs, but it mostly caters hot hatches and builders vans. I have a big shed just out of town with my toys in too, always a project on the go Im up for a meet, a beer or two or even lend a hand or spanner or two when needed
Only thing Google brings up is the story in GJ so I'm guessing it was two van owners and the GJ made it a club for the story.
It was arranged through the facebook 'club' Grantham Vdubs, after a lad was let down with his transport to his prom...
