We live on a high point (GL10 3UQ for the terrain anoraks) so every journey means a hill climb to get home ... Went shade and breeze hunting here, (Frampton) for pub Sunday roast and then took the scenic route ... via Selsley ... (that's for the spectrum dwelling nerds) to make life easier for "Elmo". Kips all round now.
I did a car boot this morning. Now I’m recovery from a intake overdose of Taregon Chicken and rice. Man that meal is special.
Spent last night under canvass up at Stickle Tarn above Langdale in the Lakes. Drifted of to sleep with the calls of ravens among the crags of Pavey Ark. Theeeeeeeeeen got woken up about one o clock by a marauding flock of rogue Herdwicks, bleating about and tripping over the guy ropes. Looked out with the torch to see a sea of green eyes staring back. Theeeeeeeeeen got woken up about 5 by the biggest ground beetle I have ever seen crawling through my hair. Got up after that.
