I was chauffered down to Exmouth last weekend by my lovely wife. We stopped two nights (3 are allowed) on Queen's Drive overlooking the mouth of the River Ex and out to sea.
The spaces are just about long enough for a LWB Transit or a Fiat Ducato LWB (L3?) so a Bay will comfortably fit in.
The parking bays are reasonably level. There are toilets 5 minute walk away that are open till 10pm in summer and 7pm in winter.
Cost? £11 per 24 hours - you can come and go during that 24 hours as much as you want.
I can imagine it gets very busy in the summer, so there is an alternative spot round the corner at The Maer Carpark.
Lots of places to eat or get a coffee/beer nearby and plenty of walks - nice flat and level ones for me for now.
