Yes I was told it would ease in a couple of days, that was 2 weeks ago. As Tommy Cooper said in his visit to the docs. It hurts when I lift my arm up. Docs reply well dont do it then
I got one too!!! Left arm hurts. Heather is still in bed feeling rough - she felt that way for 1st and 2nd jabs and her flu jab.
I had my flu jab yesterday, and the nice lady didn’t think I was old enough to be eligible… although I did notice she said the same to the old codger in the queue behind me..
I got my flu jab last Thursday just after my missus got hers. Virtually no-one has gone to get them this year.
Son on the I.O.W. Got his booster invite today. He phoned up and got an appointment in January at Gosport!!!!
Pharmacy in my local Tesco. They said they'd been offering them for over 2 weeks and only had 2 or 3 people a day. 2 years back you needed to book a week or more in advance.
Is that the one that brings you out in a nasty case of wearing gor blimey trousers and calling everyone “Treacle” ?
Perhaps people are making more of a risk assessment before they have the flu jab this year? The flu jab is now rolled out to the over 50's regardless of their health status, so perhaps healthy people in that category (and being likely to have had 3 Covid jabs by the end of the winter) are deciding not to have a flu jab? I've always considered the flu jab for healthy people as being primarily to prevent getting flu, rather than preventing death from the flu? Other opinions are also available.......
Just booked my third 'Spikevax', you've got to love the Moderna marketing team. For the day after I come out of ten days quarantine in Switzerland for daring to set foot in the UK. Something else to love, changing the rules once your already en route, still we just missed the need to quarantine for two days in the UK, something else added whilst we were en route. Got a flu jab last week, Mr Pincushion me.
