Looking lovely. Thought mine was a good straight UK bus, but I think you win the prize! It's going to be fantastic (And a great colour combo!)
A little update its getting to that stage where the interior is going back in and flooring i must give credit where credit is due NLAVW have been the most helpful re curtains seat covers flooring etc a big up for a British based company !!! Service is top quality and communication has been fab ....keen prices to
Thats a shame, I usually phone my orders through & mention thelatebay. I like their products and have used quite a lot renovating our westy, never had an issue ordering or with products.
i,ll mention it next time i order ive still got a few things to purchase for the van , love your blog btw very intresting still ploughing through it hopefully we can meet up @ the next late bay in the cotswolds
Cool, thanks! The blog needs updating soon as I ran out of storage. We”ll be at Keith’s, lovely weekend & we wouldn’t miss it!
Colours look exactly how mine did . Its beautiful indded. From memory the orange was Ford Focus ST mad orange. The white was a maserati/ferrari colour.
Nice to see your keeping it original and not replacing it with modern expensive modern generic stuff . I had to add the Malaga crumpet toaster to my continental
Hi Yep I'm a firm believer if you already have a decent interior in place keep it as og as you can, Although do understand if ppl have a shot interior and renew and update it. Horses for courses and all that but me I'm an OG type of fella to a degree
Bit more today on the interior cupboards etc swing out table leg seat bed bottom etc quite plsd with the new autumn gold fabric from NLAVW a touch more yellow then og but I guess will fade in time
You’ve clearly never camped in a Continental. Good luck! (Excellent beds btw, about as good as it gets!)
They are ok. We camped in one for 10 years... but, you are stuck with the indestructible interior. Our sink unit lived in my cellar until I sold the van - the furniture is good quality but Westfalia seemed to forget people might attempt to move around inside, not just sit there like an advertisement photo. I tend to buy vans with either no interior or one fit for the bonfire ever since so I can do what I like with a clear conscience. However, since they are so tiny inside you're pretty well stuffed in one way or another however you lay it out.
