For anyone interested in this. I put it toegether a few years back to go in a beetle. Sold the Beetle and bought the Van then sold it all to Steve. Engine had new mains, big ends, cam bearings, piston and barrels. New head, under tins, front and rear tin, I always change exhaust valves, may have done inlet as well, but I cant remember, case will have had a dust of etch and silver. I don't paint any gasket surfaces or seal joints as I think it causes leaks down the line.
