My 73 Westfalia Continental Resto

So front End cleaned detailed and clear coat rust proofing going on ...for the note the front axle number is still visible in og paint ...sad I know 

 

So latest update , cab seats blasted primed painted and reupholstered with TMI covers etc I'm really pleased with the results the extra padding underneath should be nice and comfy

 

So in today's news .... nos Hirschmann Antenna and a refurbished Blaupunkt radio , works well and picks up fm no probs   

 

   A little update Westy towbar and Hella connector fitted , just doors and roof , roof bed fire control system bits and bobs to go now

Looking ace! You’ll be on the road very soon. I was terrified of using mine to begin with after spending so much time and money but that soon passes. On the first drive I was scowling at fast drivers coming in the opposite direction for fear of stonechips but to be fair scowls have changed to smiles now and we just use it as much as we can!

I really like the continental interior, reminds me of my first bay I bought many moons ago in my early 20’s. I always regretted selling it too. We too had amazing help with Adam at NLA to bring our Berlin interior up to a decent standard.

So a bit of a update the sliding door & rear hatch painted and fitted , Steve my resto guy doing a fabulous job the doors fit spot on tight gaps the buffers will note original slideing door sticker not repro lol

 

Now make sure that you buy some white linen gloves before you pick her up so that you can keep your fingerprints off the paintwork

Fantastic bus and look to be a fantastic paint job .Quick question where did you get the radio reconditioned as I have exactly the same one in my bus .

Steves brilliant Mark, ive know him many years and his quality of workmanship never diminshes and its not only vans he does his beetles and tractors are pretty awsome as well also hes a one man band takes a bit longer but hes on it start to finish and i like that

 

id like to say its all my attention to detail but hes more anal then me , hopefully i,ll make techenders if not then def Swinbrook

 

So cab doors in paint ready for tops to be done in Pastel White and its those little bits of attention to detail that's sets Steve Nolan apart
