  1. Bling bling

Modified completely a pair of 911 dust shields which are away for powder coating

Waiting on Anodised caliper brackets to come back so I can engrave them . Not that anyone will see it but I and the MOT man will

Doesn’t look like much but the centre has been moved by 25mm several cut outs and the bolt holes have been welded and moved ..

    Whow, awesome!
Would you make a hub that will work with stock calipers to fit 5x130 wheels?
MoT over here is stringent. Anything with a bracket to hold a caliper is a fail...

As she is a 76 MY with the late rubber impact bumpers I’ve gone for backdating them to pre 74 chrome ones which are about 25kg lighter ..
fog lights are cheap £28 ones vrs £400 real ones .. you also have to cut and trim the lip where the old rubber ones fitted

Last few bits of engine bay prep before engine goes in . Stainless fuel lines from the tank in front to rear , a final bit of wiring and I’ll see if the engine and supercharger will fit

Did you need hot start relay - I thought that was more for old decrepit wiring?

Every car/bus should have one, it’s a starter motor relay.

  15. So the gold anodised 914s will be a press fit in the centre caps . I originally was going to do them in one piece but I wanted the caps to match the wheels ( polished )

Loving the 4-spoke Fuchs. Won’t ask what you paid for them but how did you polish them up?

  20. I bought them completely polished .. along with 45 years of brake dust and dings ..
As originally they would have been anodised with the rim and spokes polished . I decided we needed an Aqua/vapour blaster at work so I worked all the dings out , re polished the spokes , masked them up and Aquablasted to give the Anodised look in the reliefs.. ..I didn’t want them to look new so left a few imperfections… the hardest bit was cleaning the stubborn brake dust of the backs
