Out on the road at last, now a Historic Vehicle. Been putting some shake down miles on it and booked in for a going over next week for a shopping list of jobs. Priorities are for it to reliably start, run and stop. Rust bubbles and paint issues from a winter outside are gradually being prepped and covered in stickers or hand-painted matt black - so far the wheels, bumpers, mirrors and several bits of trim already done. I have a feeling at some point it will become fully hand painted matt black. She hates it (the German eagle stickers mostly) so I must be going in the right direction........
Does the door sticker reflect how many eagles you've seen off in battle - like they do with airplanes? I don't recall ever seeing a Porsche in that colour - looks great, really suits it.
Good idea, I'll order a few more to record my road kill. I did look the colour up and sourced a touch up pen, it is a Porsche colour, but has been resprayed at least once, it's not great up close in several places.
