I DON`T DO SHOWS .... usually

 

I do hope there will be proper ale available to purchase, @paulcalf? I met some folk from Harrogate last weekend, they drank lager, Apple Sourz, and Jager bombs. You could a knocked me down with a feather, 'ow can they be proper Yorkshire folk drinking lager, I ask you? Don't even get me started on the Sourz, gave me the balk.

 

I'll have a word with the site owner who does the bar.

 

Oh yes all those yellow tops and jumpers that my friend was giving away!

Dub Odyssey 2021 has been cancelled.

We are absolutely gutted, it's for reasons beyond our control.

Tickets will automatically carry over to 2022 or if you prefer you can get a refund through Ticketline/Ticketlight.

Following the Prime Minister's announcement on Monday 14th June we have been in discussion with Rotherham Council & the venue.
The restrictions now required to operate would not allow attendees to enjoy the Dub Odyssey Experience. It would not be the great show that our loyal supporters have come to enjoy.

We won't bore you with all the specific details, but let's just say the rules would not make for a good show experience. For example everyone having to sit down at a table of 6 people when drinking or eating anything!

We explored all possibilities to keep the show on, but it just wouldn't be possible to run the event in a way that people would still enjoy it.

We are so sorry to bring you this bad news.

Ticket Holders:
You can get a refund through ticketline/ticketlight. Please note whilst Dub Odyssey will give you all of the ticket cost back, ticketline keep their booking fee!
Therefore we would prefer you to hang onto your tickets for Dub Odyssey 2022.

sorry to hear this,
I know a lot of work goes into these events,
heres hoping for next year...

 

Look on the bright side, the next time the event takes place, you will be able to go in your bus.

Its sad, but we are not at the end game yet, and hopefully things settle down by late summer so next years events can be normal.

 

Its interesting a small (less than 500 people) music event is still going ahead next weekend.

There's one similar within striking distance of me this weekend, I nearly went, but it was too close to TE, it seems to be going ahead; there's a general lack of consistency.

 

I'm just helping spread the word, rather than being the organiser this time.

So i'm not quite as gutted as them!

 

We have a licenced bar so the tables of 6 rule kicks in for anyone having a drink or food!

Some people are running 'test events' eg download festival

 

I'm still hoping to have my bus sorted by then. Should know more at the end of next week

 

I see Heritage have the CB 044 heads in stock, so thats one thing that should take less time.

 

No I don't know all the ins and outs but surely if it's outside its outside. Inside, tables of 6 etc?

Anyone organising an event so close to June 21 was asking for trouble. Obs sorry to hear but surely utter madness.
