A few q's

What's the difference between yours and the JK one ?

Will it work with megasquirt ecu ?

Where do I put the clock if I fit rev counter ?

My tachometers are built using a Swiss VDO tachometer. Not too sure where the JK/Smiths ones are made. Have you seen the Smiths late bay units? The doming on the face is all wrong in my opinion. My units are relatively straight forward to install, the Smiths ones can be a headache. The Smiths unit looks a little too clinical. Mine suits the original cluster better.

Yes my gauge will work with ECU.

Put the clock on ebay or perhaps I can arrange an exchange.

No I haven't seen either in the flesh so didn't know , thing is I currently have 944 rev counter which I don't think will work with ecu and can't decide wether to ditch clock altogether or swop out 944 one

Great news Clint. Glad it arrived safely across the pond. Don't forget to change the dip switches on the back to 6 cylinder before installing. Good luck.

 

It's installed and working great with the 2.0, the six goes in sometime in November after camping season is over. I'd post a pic but I can't compress it from my phone. Very good instructions also.

I have a clock that I don't use but works !! Would u exchange clock for rev counter?

Mine's still in its box and thought i should fit it. Do I need to run a separate wire from the coil all the way to the dash or is there another way of doing this?

 

You will need an extra wire for the tacho.
