I have a Clarke clmtype that works really well. The release foot pedal is known for being really sensitive but works well once you get used to it. I've taken the engine out and back again a couple of times and it makes it really quite a double single person job.
So come on then? Is it a double person job ? or a single person job ? It’s make your mind up time. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,, go on then, edit it and make me look dafter than normal
Proper engine removal tool ... After years of rolling around on the drive it's a revelation to use the proper kit.... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
@Lasty That's what we are after, the proppa kit Even a few cable ties at the ready to hold it steady.
I decided to buy one of the about £95 eBay jacks - as my gearbox is probably coming back next week, and the last time I went engine wrestling, it seems that losing weight over lock down means I cant get the engine on the existing jack platform by leaning back and pulling on it .. very annoying, it just sits there when another 10kg would have worked.
The proper engine removal tool series of photos??? Is it just me or does it look like this is a series of medical photos showing your van having a poo First is van complete with poo, then van after having a poo, then a nice family portrait pic of the poo for posterity Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,Hhhhmmmmm what a grunt that was
The best accessory to that 4 poster is the parallel lines painted on the ground under it helping you line stuff up.. Gnarly tarmac isnt quite the same..
