Gas Regulations in Vans

    That was one of the reasons I went refillable internal. It's unlikely, but still possible, that an underslung could get ripped off in an accident or by a rock/high kerb. Or even the lines could get damaged if not properly clipped.
    I'll bet most people don't isolate the pipework when travelling...:thinking:
     
  2. Yeah when I was looking at it I am pretty sure regs where 250 but you have obviously found something that states 200

  4. Just reading through this post and have a couple of questions before i set off on my first "adventure" in my van:

    Mine is a 1970 Westfalia and the gas bottle is stored in the cupboard below the folding cooker - do I need to move this to comply with regulations

    I am due to get my habitation certificate done on the van - will that check that the gas connections, pipes etc. comply with regulations?

    Is a standard CO2 detector the right thing to fit in the van or is the a different one for LPG

    Apologies if any or all the above are basic and i should already know lol
