I can imagine the whiff of some solvent or other to achieve the sellotape and the white spray, but what do robins and glitter smell like?

Silly , they don't smell ,you have got to stuff a whole robin into the calendar so that it fly's out when the door is open ,and the glitter needs loading with a small explosive charge
