  1. here we go!!

+k for each recipe posted and +k for the winner, voting will begin a few days before the end of the month (fingers crossed and work permitting ;) )

  2. Is nobody eating this month?

I know that the weather has been pants and the chippy seems a better option than trying to cook when camping at the mo, but come on you hardy souls, what have you cooked that has kept you warm

Where are our regulars? come poptop and Lou something Italian to warm us up, Terrordales a bbq recipe we can dream about, Ricky - we'll even have your pot noodle spesh ;D

  3. I think we will do this for Camperjam :)

    Wilma's Three Cheese Fondue

    1 clove garlic

    290ml pint white wine

    1 tsp lemon juice

    225g Emmental cheese,, grated

    225g Gruyère cheese grated

1 tsp cornflour, mixed with a bit more wine

    green pepper Tabasco

Rub the inside of fondue pot with the garlic, until its all lovely and garlicy mmmmm then throw out the squidgy bit that's left.

Add the wine and the lemon juice and heat until boiling, then gradually add the cheeses, stirring all the time, don't take your eye off it, it will become something evil before your very eyes!

Add the cornflour/wine mixture and kept stirring. Don't over cook or the fondue will burn or split.

That's it! We dip in crusty bread, cooked new potatoes, pickled onions (sounds weird but it is great) but you can use whatever you want.

The fondue can be cooked in advance and boxed up. When you want to eat it, very slowly warm it up, before transferring it to the fondue stove.

Very 70's!!! and delicious. This used to be our Vanfest Saturday night dinner but I think this is one for Camperjam, anyone like to join us? We could have a fondue love in!
